A virtual slide of a sagittal section of a zebrafish, a commonly used vertebrate model organism. The 5 dpf embryo has been imaged at 1.6 nm pixel-1 resolution over an area of 1.5 x 0.6 mm2, yielding a total of 281 gigapixels.
